Having an entrepreneurial heart, he began selling his BBQ as a youth with the help of his brother Ronald. After watching so many people enjoy his cooking, he found different ways to perfect his craft. He began to pick up tips of how to season meat from his aunt and uncle Jeanie and Charles Chavis, as well as his mother Ruth, sister Aleisha, and brother Camille. .
From that point until today, he has perfected the art of seasoning to get the most flavor out of any meat. .
